My goal for every one of my patients' experience in my office is that it will be the best experience they've had in healthcare. I want them to be able to pull up to our building, easily find a place to park, enter a clean, professional building, come into our office, be pleasantly greeted, to be seen on time, they have all their questions and concerns answered in a very informative, healthful fashion. Realizing that most patients that come to see me are typically very anxious in what they're doing, coming to the dentist is not typically a more an entertainment feature, it's a necessity for lots of different reasons.
They're very sensitized to their surroundings. They're very sensitized to conversations, and you've got to be, you know, very in tune to that thought process. And I think we do a spectacular job of doing that, so that patient can feel very, very comfortable explaining to us their concerns, their anxieties. People can carry with them dental phobias from past experiences or things that are disconcerting to them of past experiences, and I want to know what they are. We certainly don't want to repeat any mistakes that they've unfortunately experienced. And we go through great lengths to accomplish that.
The other part that we consider to be very valuable is the efficiency of care. We want to make sure that we see you, that we schedule your appointments efficiently and effectively, that we're respectful of your schedule. We have a varied amount of office hours to try to accommodate most people's schedules. And I think we've done that very, very successfully.
And ultimately, I want that patient or any patient to feel at the completion of treatment that they were treated respectfully, they were treated competently in a clean, safe and healthy environment, the way that they would ultimately want to be treated if they had to write it down and say these would be my expectations on how to be treated. And I believe that we do that very, very well.
