What Sets Us Apart: Quality & Expertise Call for a Consultation
Patients depend on their dentures every single day to give them a full, enjoyable life. We take our role seriously by creating dentures that are functional, natural-looking, and comfortable.
A second-generation local dentist and dentistry expert, Dr. Narcisi has traveled the globe lecturing on dentistry and has published in multiple academic journals. In addition to his Monroeville, PA, practice, he is the clinical co-director of the Multidisciplinary Implant Center at the University of Pittsburgh and co-director of the General Practice Residency at the UPMC Shadyside Dental Center.
His expertise and high standards have allowed him to assemble a team of specialists and laboratory technicians that help ensure excellent, lasting results for our Monroeville and Greater Pittsburgh patients. A stickler for quality, Dr. Narcisi purposely maintains a low-volume practice so he can devote his time, one-on-one, with patients. To request an appointment consultation, contact us or call us.

We Help Make Dentures More Affordable With Flexible Financing
We understand that dentures are an important investment for our patients in Monroeville and throughout Pittsburgh, PA. At the same time, the ability to eat and smile comfortably is not something that should be delayed.
So that our patients won't have to wait to get the smile they deserve, we accept financing through CareCredit®. This is a third-party lender focused exclusively on dental and medical care. If you have insurance coverage, our friendly and knowledgeable staff can also determine how your benefits will factor into your treatment.
“Never go anywhere else.”
“Never go anywhere else. I have *never* had pleasant experiences at dentists and have far too much childhood trauma. Dr. Narcissi is the first person I've ever met that has genuinely turned that around and made me RELAX DURING A DRILL. I still don't believe it, it's unheard of. If you're looking for a dentist for literally any reasons, I'm confident you'll find this to be the best one you've ever visited.”

Our Versatile Solutions for Missing Teeth
Are you just starting out or looking to replace ill-fitting dentures? Dr. Narcisi's practice in Monroeville, which focuses on aesthetic dentistry and implant reconstruction, can restore the appearance and functionality of even severely compromised mouths to enhance your quality of life. Full dentures can be made that either sit on top of the gums or attach to dental implants for greater stability.
Traditional Dentures
If you are looking for a fast and affordable solution to missing teeth, our dentist may suggest traditional full dentures, or complete dentures, that are custom-made to fit your mouth comfortably and securely.
Our removable complete dentures are created using high-quality, natural-looking materials including gum-colored acrylic and false teeth. They are held in place by natural suction and, if desired, dental adhesive.
Dr. Narcisi will work closely with you on color selection and design for a natural-looking smile.

Implant-Supported Dentures
Implant-supported dentures are secured in place using dental implants, which are small posts surgically inserted into the jaw. The denture is then securely attached to the dental implants.
Unlike traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures remain in your mouth and you care for them by simply brushing and flossing, just as you did your natural teeth.
Because implants replace your tooth roots, they can also trigger new bone growth and halt jawbone atrophy. Of course, you'll never have to worry about these dentures slipping and embarrassing you. Concerned that implants will leave a shadow below your gums? Dr. Narcisi might recommend ceramic implants to prevent distracting grey lines.
Partial Dentures
Do you still have some healthy teeth remaining? Dr. Narcisi may recommend a partial denture that is custom-designed to fit around your existing teeth.
Partial dentures are hand-crafted out of quality dental materials that are carefully color-matched to your natural teeth. Partial dentures are typically held in place by clips that attach to nearby teeth.
If you are looking for a solution that is more secure than partial dentures, our dentist can restore your smile using dental implants. Implants can be used with a crown to replace an individual tooth or support a dental bridge to replace a row of missing teeth.
In addition to added security, the implants will help maintain a strong jaw by encouraging bone growth.

How Do I Know I'm a Candidate For Implant-Supported Dentures?
During your appointment, Dr. Narcisi will discuss your candidacy for implant-supported dentures. If you're not a candidate, you can likely explore other options we provide, like traditional complete dentures or partial dentures. Typical requirements are:
Healthy Gums
Patients with gum disease or gingivitis will need to resolve these conditions before treatment. Healthy gums are essential for implant placement.
Significant or Complete Tooth Loss
If you are missing all or most of your teeth, you may be a good candidate for implant-supported dentures. Any decayed or broken teeth can be easily removed.
Strong Jawbone
Because implants fuse to your jaw, you will need sufficient bone tissue. In some cases, even if you have experienced bone loss, a bone graft can restore your candidacy.

How Will You Coordinate My Implant Placement?
If you have chosen implant-supported dentures, an oral surgeon or implantologist will handle this stage of your care. While Dr. Narcisi does not place implants himself, he provides references for someone who can carry out that phase of treatment.
We coordinate implant placement with a trusted local oral surgeon to ensure you have a continuum of excellent care. We're happy to answer your questions and concerns about the process so you feel comfortable and confident in your care.
